Hyundai Tucson and Elantra are top draws with parents and students!

Hyundai models' appeal across all ages finds another confirmation. Kelley Blue Book has recommended thw 2008 Tucson and Elantra to students and their parents as the best suited models for their next purchase.

Kelly Blue Book's site, www.kbb.com rated the 2008 Hyundai Tucson and Elantra as two picks in the "Top 10 New/Used Back-to-School Car". The "Top 10" lists are essentially aimed at giving advice to parents and students about their next best suited car.

The lists for New Car Blue Book Values take into consideration vehicles priced at below $18,000, and used cars have to have a price of under $12,000.

The site's editors draw these lists by collating information about vehicles and analyzing them. Expert opinions are offered on the vehicle with the best economy and reliability.

In the opinion of the KBB site, the Hyundai models stood out from among the group of cars in the market because they are built better, equipped better than ever before, and most importantly for a family, offer high safety at extremely attractive prices.

The Elantra's comprehensive safety features run into every aspect of the vehicle. It earned the highest possible scores for safety from two of the best known safety rating institutions –five stars in National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and a "Good" score in the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's (IIHS) crash testing. Its interiors are more spacious than those of its prime rivals, the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla.

The 2008 Tucson's safety and convenience features, important parameters for this test, consist of Electronic Stability Control (ESC); active front head restraints and six airbags. Entertainment features for this model include a standard auxiliary audio input which allows drivers to listen to music from their iPod® or mp3 player and XM Satellite Radio®, among other updated interior amenities.
